Coming Events
The August 14 scalloping trip was discussed. We have enough people for two boats. Claudia will be sending directions to the dock; all those who have paid for the trip should be ready to board by 7:15 am. There is the possibility of another trip on August 21; contact Claudia if interested. Cancelled due to bad weather.
The September 6 trip to the John Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo is planned. Claudia is waiting to hear back from the owner of Rainbow Reef for pricing information. She will send club members detailed information when she has it; members will make their own travel and sleeping arrangements. Claudia talked to the captain of the Miss Daisy for another boating trip in the Gulf. The current pricing information is $450 for 3 hours; she will try to determine how much a 4 hour trip would cost. The club set a date for October 11, 2008.
